I’ve painstakingly collected 50 writer profiles from Medium and included all of their relevant information in this list.
Some quick notes before getting started
- It’s in alphabetical order, because, why not?
- Each section includes the author’s name, link, profile description, followers, Twitter accounts, top writer categories, when they joined the Medium program, and their current featured article.
- The Medium Member Since section refers to when they became a member of the Medium subscription plan. They may have been writing on here much longer.
- There are a few accounts that are no longer active, but not many at all.
Some quick stats for the fun of it
- The most followers of any account in this list is 235,000, following the prolific Benjamin Hardy, PhD.
- There’s a tie for the most Top Writer categories: Shannon Ashley and Tim Denning both have 18. Holy hell that’s a lot! I can barely count that high.
- Most authors are paying members of the Medium subscription plan, but not all.
- The vast majority of the writers use their own face (presumably) as the profile picture.
- Tonnes of them have Twitter!
- The most common year that people joined the program was 2017.
